Connecting a Financial App

How to connect an app

1. Find the app in the Explore tab and tap GET.
2. Review the app’s information and what data it requires.
3. You will see a screen explaining: "Apps require access to certain accounts to work properly. You decide which accounts to share. You can update your preferences at any time."
4. Select accounts to share — Choose which of your linked bank or credit accounts to share with the app. Some apps require a minimum number of accounts.
5. Choose what information to hide — You can opt to hide your name, email, account number, or payment info from the app.
6. Tap Share My Data to complete the connection.

If you do not have any linked accounts

Some apps require at least one linked account. If you see "You don’t have any accounts that can link to this app", tap Add Account to link one first.

Your privacy

ASA Vault puts you in control. You choose exactly which accounts and data to share with each app, and you can update your preferences at any time.
